Alex is one of the rare educators certified in all New York State high school science disciplines: Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. She also teaches AP Chemistry. Her passion for science shines through in her daily classroom instruction and academic coaching sessions.
With 15 years of teaching experience, Alex is a New York State Master Teacher Emeritus and serves as webmaster for her local STANYS chapter. She is actively involved in mentoring science teachers across the state who are just beginning their careers in science education.
As a mother of two young children, Alex takes special delight in working with students of all ages across the science curriculum, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
