Gabby is an educator and scholar with extensive experience teaching literature, writing, and mathematics across a wide range of grade levels. She is completing her PhD in German Studies at Yale University, where she has designed and led discussion-based seminars in both the English and German departments, focusing on academic writing, literature, culture, and grammar.
In addition to her university teaching, Gabby has worked with high school students through Yale Summer Session and partnership programs, providing individualized support to diverse learners, including English language learners. Most recently, she has expanded her teaching to K–12 classrooms as an instructor of math and language arts, bringing a collaborative, patient, and flexible approach honed through formal pedagogical training in English and German instruction.
Gabby earned her BA in Comparative Literature and Mathematics from New York University, where she received both the Albert Borgman/Phi Beta Kappa Thesis Prize and the Comparative Literature Department Thesis Prize. She will complete her PhD at Yale in December 2025, following her MPhil and MA in German Studies.
Fluent in German and proficient in several other languages, Gabby combines strong communication skills with a passion for helping students engage deeply with language, literature, and mathematics.
