PLATINUM COACH SUBJECT: TEST PREP AREA OF EXPERTISE: SAT/ACT and Mathematics
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley in 2021, Ryan began working as a full‑time, high‑volume tutor specializing in all sections of the SAT and ACT. His passion for teaching started long before college—he spent his high school years peer tutoring during free periods, an experience that sparked his interest in education and shaped his approach to working with students.
Since 2021, Ryan has supported more than 150 students, with a strong emphasis on standardized test preparation. He has extensive experience working with learners across a wide range of score levels, backgrounds, and learning styles. Ryan prioritizes building an open, honest, and collaborative relationship with each student, ensuring they take an active role in setting goals and mapping out the most effective path to reach them. In addition to test prep, Ryan is an expert in mathematics and tutors through BC Calculus.
