Sandra has over 10 years of experience teaching Chemistry in New York State, working in both public and private schools. For the past five years, she has taught Regents Chemistry in a large public school in Westchester County. Sandra holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry with minors in Physics and Mathematics, making her a multi-dimensional educator. She will soon be expanding her expertise to include Physics in her teaching repertoire. Additionally, Sandra has tutored students in the mathematics portions of the ACT and SAT.
Beyond her work in the classroom, Sandra is deeply committed to her community. From 2014 to 2022, she volunteered as a religion teacher in a Croatian parish in Queens and anchored a Croatian radio program for more than a decade. Her diverse experiences have shaped her unique teaching style, which focuses on understanding each student as an individual with their own skills and learning methods. Each of her coaching sessions is specifically tailored to the student's unique learning style.
