Bob retired in 2024 after an impressive 38-year teaching career, but his passion for education and helping students remains as vibrant as ever. Known for his amazing energy and entertaining teaching style, Bob has a knack for breaking down complex concepts in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. His students consistently score 3 or higher on AP Literature and AP Language exams, thanks in part to his clear and insightful explanations.
In addition to his work with the College Board, Bob has taught across Massachusetts through Mass Insight, an organization focused on expanding college readiness in AP programs. He holds a B.A. in English from Middlebury College and an M.A. from the Bread Loaf School of English (Middlebury). For the past eight years, Bob has been heavily involved in AP Capstone, where he serves as a Table Leader for AP Research.
