Platinum COACH SUBJECT: Science AREA OF EXPERTISE: Biology, Living Environment Regents, Sustainability, Research
Clare is a dedicated science teacher with six years of experience in the Westchester, NY public schools, where she teaches all levels of living environment, sustainability, and action research. She is a NYS Certified Master Teacher through the SUNY Masters Teachers program, a Regeneron STEM Teacher Fellow, and an Ecology Project International Fellow. Clare is passionate about education and values learning beyond the classroom. She has studied abroad on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia and, in spring 2023, worked with the reefs off Baja, Mexico.
Clare deeply values building connections with her students and her community. She attends sports games, theater productions, and oversees a variety of clubs, including the Cancer Awareness Club, the Billion Oyster Club, and Student Council.
