Jacob has spent the last two years as a teaching assistant, working with students in Calculus I, III, IV, and most recently, a fourth-year course on algebraic curves. He is experienced in supporting students both individually and in small groups, fostering a strong understanding of complex mathematical concepts. Before becoming a teaching assistant, he tutored AP Calculus AB students during his senior year of high school. While passionate about mathematics, Jacob has a wide range of interests beyond academics. He played soccer for Columbia University for two years and has a deep appreciation for modernism, poetry, jazz, urban design, and photography.
In Fall 2025, he will begin his PhD studies in mathematics at Northwestern University.
