Judy is a veteran English teacher with thirty years of experience in public education in New York State. In addition to her teaching career, she served as the Department Chairperson at her high school, where she supervised over 20 middle and high school English teachers and oversaw all aspects of the instructional program.
Judy has also taught at the college level in the secondary education program for pre-service teachers at SUNY New Paltz. She is driven by a strong desire to meet each student at their individual instructional level, helping to strengthen their reading, writing, and literacy skills in English and across the curriculum.
After retiring in 2024, Judy is excited to begin a new chapter as a professional tutor, continuing her passion for helping students achieve academic success. Judy earned the following degrees and certifications:
