Merek is Ph.D. student in mathematics at Tufts University, with a passion for teaching and research. His research focuses on developing kinetic models of financial markets and using them to quantify trading advantage. He has served as a lecturer and Teaching Assistant at Tufts since 2016, teaching a variety of mathematics courses, including multivariable calculus, differential equations, and Mathematics of Social Choice.
