Stephen is a seasoned educator with over 14 years of experience teaching Chemistry in New York, focusing on Honors and AP Chemistry. He has also taught students in science research courses similar to OSR at Mamaroneck High School. These courses challenge students to discover and become experts in individualized, novel areas of science, find a mentor to conduct their own experiments, and present their work to the public and in competition. Stephen is deeply committed to helping students succeed and is known for his innovative approach to teaching, always seeking new ways to engage students and support their growth and inquiry.
Stephen is also a Science Olympiad Coach who has guided students to success, with notable achievements including 2nd place at the Lower Hudson Regional and strong showings at the State Championship. His science research students regularly win awards at local science fairs, including the Somers Science Fair, showcasing the students’ experimental design and analytical capabilities.
